The Katie Ride is a premier bicycle touring event catering to cyclists of all abilities. The annual fundraiser is held on beautiful Amelia Island (“Top 10 Island in the United States” - Conde Nast Traveler 2012 Readers’ Choice Awards) and features routes of 100 miles, 62 miles, 36 miles, 18 miles, fun ride and an off-road ride. The event was created in 2005 to raise awareness for organ donation and support the Katie Caples Foundation nationally recognized organ donor education program. The 10th anniversary of the event is Saturday, April 12, 2014.
