TRAINING RIDES

We have partnered with North Florida Bicycle Club and Amelia Island Cycling to provide training rides every Thursday and Saturday morning in Amelia Island, FL.

THURSDAYS – Main Beach at 9:00am

SATURDAYS – Main Beach at 8:30am

SATURDAY, MARCH 24 – All participants registered for the Katie Ride for Life who participate in the training ride will enjoy a complimentary breakfast at Elizabeth Pointe Lodge.

Cyclists of ALL abilities are welcome. Typically there are a variety of groups A(18-21 mph), B(14-17 mph), C(up to 14 mph) and S(Social Ride – speed of the slowest rider in the group). The route is 30 miles with rest stops included. The ride loops back to the starting area at 10 miles before continuing the remaining 20 miles.

Bicycle helmets are mandatory as well as a bicycle in good working condition.
Bicycle safety is an absolute must and will be repeated as a constant reminder before the start of all rides.
